Tonight I'm Getting Over You merupakan single keempat dari Carly Rae Jepsen setelah This Kiss. Di video klip ini menceritakan tentang hot and cold relationship. Dari mulai hubungan yang baik hingga menjadi buruk.
Video klip ini kabarnya terinspirasi dari kehidupan nyata dari Carly sendiri. "Lagu ini menceritakan tentang hubungan yang on-off relationship, dan kadang kita harus memutuskan untuk move on," cerita Carly. "Dan aku rasa ada baiknya kalau aku memiliki koneksi dengan lagu yang kita nyanyi, aku rasa aku sedikit mengambil beberapa adegan dari kehidupanku, tapi itu enggak membuat aku sedih, It just makes me feel a little contemplative and in the moment," tutupnya.
